Corporate Case Studies

In 2006, a major European steel concern asked First International for assistance in raising its profile ahead of major international business events, including the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.  Leveraging our capabilities in international attitudinal polling and our extensive international corporate and government contacts, we provided that client with a successful communications campaign that resulted in increased positive international exposure and the resulting beneficial financing environment.

In late 2008, as the bankruptcies and restructuring of General Motors and Chrysler appeared imminent, First International was approached by a major automotive client to evaluate the various possibilities surrounding government assistance to the U.S. auto industry and the political and communications concerns that the client should plan for in 2010.  Armed with superlative research and contacts within the U.S. government and industry, First International compiled a comprehensive research report which proved accurate in detailing the amount and structure of U.S. government aid.  In addition to the report, First International provided actionable recommendations on communications challenges brought upon by U.S. government ownership in the automotive industry.
